I tasted The Hidden Sea Shiraz back in 2023, it was the best wine we ever had.
So we brought this wine. Firstly it’s not the same packaging as in the picture. Secondly it was the worst wine we ever tasted. The wine tasted off.

Very dark ruby with purple hue. Full-bodied and smooth with aromas of smoke, blackberry, cassis and cedar box. The finish is medium-long - a great choice for those who love a big, bold, fruity wine.

Just one look and you can see how dark and velvety this bottle is.... with very long legs. Take a sip and you get flavours of chocolate (and went great with dark chocolate), blackberries and blueberries. Considering the bottle is quite high in alcohol its still very smooth and maintains a nice light smell. It's not sweet but has a little residual sugar. The medium body and light tannins lead to a long finish with an after taste of light spice and bark.
